“The mission of Hope Rural School in Indiantown, Florida is to offer HOPE to families. Hope Rural School primarily serves children from immigrant families by providing them with a Catholic Elementary education in grades Prek3 through Grade 5 in an environment that nurtures the gospel values. Our student population is comprised of the following- 88% Guatemalan/Mexican, 10% Haitian, and 2% Caucasian.

We are grateful to the Queally Foundation Inc.  for their support of our children who attend Hope Rural Elementary School.  The Queally Foundation Inc. has generosity provided the funding for our Afterschool and Summer School programs. These programs help us prepare our children to reach their full potential because we focus especially on the academic skills of reading literacy and math.  We have witnessed a difference in academic growth in both of these areas because of the ability of our teachers to have this quality time to reinforce the skills needed for each child to reach their full potential.

The Queally Foundation Inc.  believes in our vision and mission. Their support and faith in what we do each day at Hope Rural continues to help us claim and embrace God’s mission to be our mission.  The late Archbishop of Recife, Brazil used to say, “When we dream alone, it is only a dream, when we dream with others, it is the beginning of reality.” It has been a remarkable gift to dream with the Queally Foundation Inc.”

The Queally Foundation has had a tremendous impact on the students and families we serve. Their passion for education — particularly creating educational opportunities for under-resourced, under-represented students — is unparalleled. I could not be more grateful for their commitment to our mission.

“The Queally Scholarship supports a current student at King School who began four years ago in the 6th grade, and will continue to support that same student until they graduate from 12th grade in two years. During the time the recipient has been at King, they have become an excellent writer and consistently achieved great success in several honors level courses each year. The support from the Queally Foundation has greatly impacted the student’s educational trajectory by giving them access to King School’s exceptional resources. We are excited to see them continue to flourish as they find their untapped courage, talents, and passions!”

The Queally Scholars program has transformed more than 1000 lives over the years at the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport. Queally Scholars are high achieving students who are given the opportunity to reach their potential through access to a more accountable and rigorous education; students who may have otherwise become another statistic in the inner-city landscape. Our Queally Scholars move on to attend some of the finest private and charter high schools in Connecticut, poised to thrive in college and beyond. The Paul and Anne-Marie Queally Family Foundation, through their hands-on devotion to the students in the Queally Scholars program, is making a profound difference not only on individual children’s lives, but on the communities in which those children live and grow. We are proud and grateful to share our mission of faith and education with the Queally Scholars program.
